SUPPORT FOR OUR COMMUNITY DURING COVID 19- BURLINGTON CARES!
As many of you know, we run an annual Food Drive with all donations going towards the Burlington Food Bank. Over the years, thanks to a very supportive community, it has grown incredibly. Given recent events, we felt it might be appropriate to revive this now on a weekly basis. After speaking with our local city councillors, it’s clear that now more than ever, we are in need of more support than usual. The COVID 19 crisis has affected many people’s income and we’re told the need will continue to rise over the next few weeks and months ahead.
With that in mind, our team is committed to doing a weekly food drive throughout all of Burlington (with social distance measuring in place of course).
PICK UP IS EVERY FRIDAY THROUGHOUT BURLINGTON.
To contribute to the food drive, send us an email to:hello@florianrealtyteam.ca or text us your address at 289-218-8119 by Thursday at 5pm so we can plan our route.
-Once you’ve texted us your address, just leave the food bank items out on your porch in a box or bag, clearly marked “FOOD DRIVE”. (somewhere easy for us to see).
Our team will pick up any non perishable food items, toiletries or household cleaning products every Friday. To allow for social distancing, the items are being held in a storage facility and then being redistributed to several of Burlington Food banks/ Compassion Society etc.
